We are now accepting applications for a Part-time Reporter position.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
● Working in concert with our news team, you will prepare, research, write, gather, and present
insightful, accurate, and engaging interviews and other content
● TV newscasts to highlight this original content, often live
● Identify multimedia storytelling opportunities that will enhance the station’s coverage and
deliver content across all platforms
● Reporting on a verity of topics, including business, politics and crime
● Develop story ideas for inclusion on television and across platforms
● Develop and maintain contacts
● Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
● A broadcast journalism diploma or equivalent
● A readiness to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends
● At least three years of news reporting and hosting experience
● Practical experience working live in the field
● A working knowledge of ENPS would be an asset
● Strong interviewing, writing, and editing skills
● Possess a demonstrable history of working in various social media platforms
● Superior organizational, spelling, and grammar skills
● Ability to work in a live broadcast environment
● A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
