We have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Reporter on a six-month contract.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Working in concert with our news team, you will prepare, research, write, gather, and present insightful, accurate, and engaging interviews and other content
• Appear on our TV news shows to highlight this original content, often live
• Identify multimedia storytelling opportunities that will enhance the station’s coverage and deliver content across all platforms
• Develop story ideas for inclusion on television and across platforms
• Develop and maintain contacts  
• Other duties as required 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 
• A readiness to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends
• At least three years of news reporting and hosting experience  
• Practical experience working live in the field
• A working knowledge of ENPS would be an asset
• Strong interviewing, writing, and editing skills
• Possess a demonstrable history of working in various social media platforms  
• Superior organizational, spelling, and grammar skills  
• Ability to work in a live broadcast environment
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
